Jon Sarkin

Jon Sarkin became an artist when a stroke left him unable to do anything else. I heard about Jon and wondered over to his studio to talk to him, and this video is the spontaneous (and everything Jon does is spontaneous!) tour he gave of his life and art.

This was shot in 2006 … a busy year for Jon, since he was also part of a show he and his friends had created for the West End Theatre called Big Top Show.

Jon passed away in the summer of 2024, but his art and spirit stll lives on at the Fish City Studios, 39 Main St, Gloucester MA. You can learn more about Jon at JonSarkin.com
